here you will find graphics of the two very heterosexual lawyers, fic recs, plenty of flailing, and everything else that comes with being obsessed.
general note: posts will be infrequent as we wait for season three to premiere. i promise you i'm not going anywhere. just dealing with a lack of new material.

so i’ve decided to do a fic rec a day (maybe even more than one if i find enough that i like) while we wait for the new episode to finally air. so we’re going to start it off with a beautifully long kid fic au with mike as a nanny. because it has quickly become one of my favorite fics and i just love it so much. so here’s hoping that all of you do too!
Harvey Specter, badass lawyer, is in need of a nanny for his daughter. Mike Ross, kickass nanny, is in need of a job. Shenanigans occur!
you are not annoying at all, anon. so shhhh. i’m just the awful person who can’t be much of a help i’m afraid.
ding ding ding we have a winner!
your prize is my never ending love. thank you so much!
it’s called this tornado loves you, anon.
… and i’m finally getting around to reading all the harvey/mike stuff i’ve been missing. so here we go. happy reading, everyone!
i’ve read them, loved them, and i’m 98.4% positive that i linked to them before.
but just in case anyone hasn’t read another fabulous suits au verse then the pizza-verse can be found here.
sure thing, anon!
“I could put you over my knee and spank you,” Harvey said.
“Hah! You could try!” Mike laughed, because Harvey was clearly joking.
Harvey’s dark eyes were fixed on him, watching him like a hawk, and Mike suddenly realised that Harvey was much more alert right now than he was. Harvey was studying him intently, as if looking for clues.
“I don’t think it’d be much of a punishment, Mike. I think you might enjoy it too much,” Harvey said softly, putting his cup down. “Shall we find out?”
I remember a time when I thought D/s wasn’t my thing, that I could never really like it. Then Suits happened, with this amazing fandom with incredibly talented fanfic writers who are KILLING me with their stories because they are so damn perfect!!! Read this, it’s AMAZING.
“Stop fidgeting,” Harvey says, again, and Mike snaps.
“I know, Jesus, I promise not to embarrass you at dinner with the client. I know the right fork to use and —”
Harvey side-eyes him as he opens the front door. “I swear to God, if you count the tines —”
“You, sir, are no Richard Gere.”
Harvey stops at the vestibule’s speckled mirror, and Mike fixes his own tie and jacket until everything’s on straight. “Better,” Harvey says, and his touch on Mike’s elbow as they go down a darkened hall toward the host is light. Suggestive.
No, not suggestive. It’s just dinner with a very important client. Mike tries very hard not to fidget.
“Excuse me, Mr. Specter?” a doctor called.
“Stay,” Harvey ordered, and walked over. “How is he?”
“He’s fine — mild concussion, and he’ll be stiff tomorrow. No signs of internal bleeding,” the doctor said. “Honestly, I just wanted to apologize. We’d have called you sooner if we’d known.”
Harvey tilted his head, curious.
“You must have been out of your mind when he got hit. We have a directive to call Imprinted partners as soon as we know, but there’s no documentation in his file. Is this — recent? Are you not documented yet?”
“I’m not Imprinted,” Harvey said. “I’m his boss.”
“His — oh — ” the doctor looked embarrassed. “I thought — really?”
i stalked this fic when it was being posted on the suits meme. every single time i got on the computer it would be the first place i checked to see if there was a new update. now that it’s finished i can rec it to you guys. even if you’ve never been a fan of imprinting tropes before. this will change your mind quickly with the ~fake cases that might as well be real, the dynamic between the boys, louis playing an excellent catalyst to things. it’s an amazing fic and i’m commanding everyone to read it.
Mike was five minutes late, which was an improvement over his usual, and gratifyingly he hadn’t stopped to buy a copy. Harvey heard him faintly, through the glass wall of his office, trying to cajole Donna into sharing hers.
“Donna, send Mike in,” Harvey called. Mike’s head jerked up, and he pushed through the door eagerly.
“Have you seen it yet?” he asked.
“No,” Harvey replied.
“Why not? Donna said she gave you a copy — “
“Because I am a lawyer, Mike, not a debutante.”
“You’d look very pretty in the fluffy white dress,” Mike said, with a weird sort of loyalty, like he had no doubt in Harvey’s ability to pull anything off with style.
that snark you see up above is pretty much prevalent throughout the whole fic and it’s got this spot on mike that sometimes gets lost in a lot of these fics. basically, harvey gets published in a magazine as one of the city’s most eligible bachelors. hilarity ensues.
